This Intel® article explains the latest technology for increasing battery life on PCs. Low Power Display Technology (LPDT) is expected to deliver up to 8 hours of additional local video playback–and up to 28 hours of battery life on select laptops. Best of all, there is no compromise on display quality or performance. This revolutionary technology will be available in some PCs by the end of this year and promises to be a significant benefit of investing in new hardware.
